Regaining control of Mosul

These armed trucks are travelling towards the Mosul airport which was recently reclaimed from the terrorists. The airport was held by the terrorists for more than two years but the government forces have now regained control. The main buildings of the airport have been destroyed by the terrorists and the main runway has also been destroyed. This Iraqi soldier says the damaged buildings and runways are all around him. He says that this damage has been caused by bombs and other explosives. An Iraqi army Camp under the control of the terrorists has also been reclaimed. The airforce is assisting with attacks from the air. Having strengthened the security in the surrounding areas the airport premises is being used now to attack the terrorists with 30km long range fire.

One of the authorized officers said that Christians and large crowds of people of other races and religions are now slowly making their way back to the city. This person says that the government forces in the face of heavy attacks from the terrorists have been successful in bringing together the land that was divided in two. Many people had been successful in saving their lives but many others died as they could not escape. These people are returning with new hope in their hearts. The importance of this success is that this is the largest city that was being held by the terrorists. The only request of the government forces is that any terrorists hiding in the city should give up their weapons and surrender. The ISIS terrorists in response to this have said that special treatment will be offered to every citizen who kills a member of the foreign armies.
