America’s new migrant policy

As President Donald Trump begins his work in America certain government policies have taken a controversial turn.  The main one of its kind is America’s new Migrant Policy.  Accordingly certain drastic changes have been made to America’s prevailing refugee policies as well.  As such refugees from several countries have lost the right to enter America under these new policies.  This situation is now reaching crisis levels.  Even at the Presidential Inauguration ceremony Pastor Samuel made a statement about migrant policies quoting verses from the Bible.

At present Pastor Samuel and leaders from 7 Churches are preparing to hold talks with President Trump about this situation.  A formal letter has been sent to the President about this situation.  They have quoted scriptures about migrants saying that according to the Bible whatever nation they came from, whatever faith they observed, whatever language they spoke they are all God’s creation and if they are facing a crisis they we must put ourselves in that situation and help them out.  The Pastors who were present at the swearing in ceremony of the President felt that coming to the aid of refugees is not the responsibility of the government but the responsibility of the Church.  Although no change has been observed from President Trump several countries are opposing this policy.  However the American government states these steps are being taken with the intention of protecting the security of the nation.  However many countries are known to be carrying out protests about this situation, media reports say.
